ARM Across the Black Belt Itinerary
June 8th-19th, 2009

Day 1 Monday June 8th
Launch: 7:30 AM Tuskegee, AL. (Tuskegee, United Methodist Church)
Arrive- 5:00 PM Shorter, AL. Stopping point is at the fire station 20 miles from the church on HW 80. Sleep point is at Bradford’s Chapel UMC in Shorter.

Day 2 Tuesday June 9th
Depart: 7:30 AM Shorter, AL Fire Station
Arrive: 3:00 PM Montgomery, AL- Frazer United Methodist Church, - Arrive Annual Conference. Sleep point is families from Frazer UMC

Day 3 Wednesday June 10th
Depart: Launch time is TBD-Frazer UMC, Montgomery, AL
Arrive: 5:00 PM Burkville UMC, Montgomery, AL (Mile Marker 82) Sleep point is First UMC Montgomery

Day 4 Thursday June 11th
Depart: 7:30 AM Burkville UMC, Montgomery AL
Arrive: 5:00 PM Vicinity-Whitehall, AL (Shell Station, 102 mile marker)  Sleep point is Benton UMC

Day 5 Friday June 12th
Depart: 7:30 AM Whitehall, AL.- mile marker 102 (Shell Station)
Arrive: 5:00 PM Selma AL.- City Hall (Broad Street/HW 14) Sleep point is United Methodist Children’s Home in Selma

Day 6 Saturday June 13th
8:00 AM Work day in Selma. Meet at Church Street UMC at 7:30 AM.  Sleep point UM Children’s Home Selma

Day 7 Sunday June 14th
Worship, Depart: 1:30 PM Selma, City Hall
Arrive: Mid point (mile marker 72) Selma- Sleep point UM Children’s Home

Day 8 Monday June 15th
Depart: 7:30 AM- Mile Marker 72 to Union Town
Arrive: 5:00 PM- Union Town (mile marker 52)

Day 9 Tuesday June 16th
Rally/work day Union Town Site: Union Town library at 9:00 AM to read with children
Depart: 1:30 PM Union Town, AL (Mile Marker 52)
Arrive: 5:00 PM Gallion Baptist Church, Greensboro AL. (mile marker 42)

Day 10 Wed June 17th
Depart: 7:30 AM Gallion Baptist Church, Greensboro AL.
Arrive: 5:00 PM Demopolis, AL/Rally (mile marker 22)- Sleep at Demopolis UMC

Day 11 Thurs. June 18th
Depart: 7:30 AM Demopolis, AL (mile marker 22)
Arrive: 5:00 PM Coatopa, AL. (mile marker 12) Sleep at ARM camp site (Southern Sportsman’s Lodge)

Day 12 Fri. June 19th
Depart: 7:30 AM Amoco Service Station (mile marker 12) - walk into Livingston for Rally (noon) Reception at Livingston UMC for lunch
